Support messages poured in from exchanges after Terra’s new recovery plan was approved by the community.
While many global exchanges have announced that they will support Terra 2.0, some are pre-snapshot. LUNA stopped trading and withdrawals of currency pairs.
The major exchanges that have announced that they will support Terra 2.0 and airdrop so far are as follows; “Binance, FTX, Bybit, Huobi, OKX, Crypto.com, Kucoin, Upbit and Gate.io”
Domestic exchanges BtcTürk and Binance TR also announced that they will support Terra 2.0 and airdrop.
Prior to the airdrop, major exchanges like FTX and Binance stopped trading LUNA.
How to take advantage of Airdrop?
As with previous airdrops, a snapshot will be taken from the wallets, if the exchange you are using supports the airdrop and does not make a special statement, it will be enough to have LUNA in your account at the time the snapshot was taken. After this snapshot, the number of LUNA available on exchanges that support the airdrop will be credited to your new LUNA account as you deserve. This will happen within a certain time frame.
BtcTürk used the following statements in his statement regarding the airdrop:
“TerraForm Labs (TFL) has also announced that it will launch a new Terra (LUNA) airdrop. BtcTurk will support this distribution program if done by TFL without any problems.
When the distribution program (airdrop) is made, Terra (LUNA) will be reflected in the accounts of our users at the relevant rates, but it will not be open for trading. Our users will be able to withdraw money to their own wallets if they wish.”
Binance TR used the following statements in its announcement:
“It will rename the existing Terra network to Terra Classic network and support Terra network airdrop. LUNA tokens on the Terra Classic network are hereinafter referred to as LUNA (legacy).
-Trading transactions for the LUNA/BUSD trading pair will be suspended on 26/05/2022 at 18:00 (CET) and all pending orders will be cancelled.
-LUNA (old) token will be renamed to LUNC.
-LUNC trading will start again. The start date of the transaction will be shared with another announcement.
-Binance TR will support the new LUNA Airdrop and the details will be shared in another announcement.”
