Turkey’s Automobile Initiative Group, or Togg for short, is nearing the end of the domestic electric SUV car. In the second half of this year, the serial production of the vehicle, which has started the runway test tests, will begin. But the company had a great misfortune today. Togg’s official Twitter account has been hacked.
The Togg Twitter account has returned to the NFT market for a short time!
Togg’s official Twitter account was hacked today evening. The people controlling the account were trying to market the NFTs they offered for sale through OpenSea here. However, the authorities realized the situation in a short time and managed to get the account back.
The account remained in the hands of the hackers for a period of about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, only 1 tweet was shared. In addition, the profile picture and cover photos of the account have been changed. In the shared tweet, a link to the OpenSea NFT platform was given.
When we click this link, we see the collection of a seller named RTFKT – MNLTH. Here, we see that an NFT with a current value of 11.28 ETH (at the level of 33 thousand dollars) has been sold.
However, Togg authorities, who realized that the Twitter account was stolen in a short time, managed to recover the account. After that, the shared tweet was removed. Then the profile and background pictures of the account were restored.
First statement from Togg
