More than 24,000 Tesla Model 3 recalls
The electric car maker has decided to recall more than 24,000 Tesla Model 3s produced between 2017 and 2022. According to the statement, each of the vehicles called will be physically repaired at Tesla services. At the root of the problem lies improperly placed seat belts.
Tesla stated that this problem has not caused any injuries so far. However, it is stated that the noticed problem may affect the performance of the seat belt in the event of a collision. Interestingly, Tesla stated that this problem was caused by the service, not the production line.

The company notes that maintenance of certain components on the Model 3s requires removal of the second row left seat belt buckle and center seat belt anchor, both of which are secured with the same bolt. Both components are suspected to have been incorrectly assembled after being removed during service.
Tesla states that this problem can be detected by customers by pulling up and releasing the second row left belt or link piece. It is underlined that customers will feel some slack in any problem. Tesla also stated that he noticed this problem after complaints from service technicians and customers.
The famous electric car company has detected that these parts were assembled incorrectly a total of 105 times between August 15 and September 30. Although it did not encounter any new cases after this process, Tesla decided to recall its vehicles.
