Dusseldorf Star investor Michael Burry only needed one word at the beginning of February to express what he thought of the current rally on the stock market. “Sell,” tweeted the manager of hedge fund Scion Asset Management. Investors should therefore use the higher prices to exit with profits.

Burry’s word carries weight on Wall Street. After all, it was he who predicted the US housing market crash in 2007. His story was filmed in 2015 under the name The Big Short, and he has cemented his reputation several times in the recent past.

Accordingly, it is closely followed which stocks Burrys is buying or selling with his hedge fund. He has to report his portfolio to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on a quarterly basis, which then publishes it. The latest data came Tuesday night – and it shows that Burry has almost completely rebuilt its portfolio from the previous release.
