Dusseldorf The start-up OpenAI set the dominant technology trend of the year with its ChatGPT language model. Artificial intelligence (AI) writes entire texts, can create program codes and capture connections. So far GPT-3.5 has been in use, now the fourth version of the AI system has been released.
With the update, the capabilities of the applications have grown further: GPT-4 can evaluate photos as well as text. As before, it produces continuous text that appears natural and as if it were written by humans. However, the AI can now process and create longer texts. Companies also rely on GPT-4, according to OpenAI, for example Bank Morgan Stanley or cloud provider Dropbox.
How much better is the new version?
How well the model works compared to the previous version GPT-3.5 can be said quite precisely. Because the manufacturer OpenAI has both versions compete against each other in various test procedures – including, for example, the admission test for US colleges or a mathematical scholastic test.
