This Delisted Altcoin Claims $50 Million BNB From Binance!

A blockchain social media altcoin project Mithril (MITH), After Binance removed the token from the platform earlier today, it asked the company to refund 200,000 BNB ($53 million).

The project stated that it paid a deposit of 200,000 BNB to Binance as part of the initial listing in November 2018. “Given that Binance has unilaterally decided to terminate this partnership, we respectfully request the return of our 200,000 BNB deposits,” the project tweeted.

At the time of listing in 2018, the BNB deposit in question was worth around $1 million.

Mithril also cryptocurrency He also claimed that the stock exchange is a long-time collaborator company. Mithril’s altcoin with the abbreviation MITH was the first token on Binance Chain when it was launched in April 2019.

It was also the first pair to be listed on the Binance decentralized exchange. Mithril also added that since 2018, he has donated to Binance Charity and collaborated on other initiatives as part of his longstanding working relationship with the company. The listing announcement in 2018 shows a donation of 20,000 BNB to the Blockchain Charity Foundation.

Following Binance’s delisting announcement, the MITH token dropped 30%.

Mithril stated that the repayment is necessary to continue its operations. The blockchain social media project has been largely inactive for almost two years. The last Twitter post before today was on January 7, 2021. The project’s website also appears offline.

MITH was among four altcoins delisted by Binance on Thursday. The announcement stated that the tokens no longer meet the exchange’s listing standard.
