Bitcoin has returned to the $43,000 level, impacted by sales in global markets. Selling in Bitcoin lowered risk appetite in altcoins. When we look at the market in general, we see that there is a partially horizontal course.
In the meantime, we observe that the news about altcoins are positively differentiated from the market and exhibit good rises.
One of these altcoins was Phantom.
Fantom announced that it will work with OJSC Orienbank, one of Tajikistan’s oldest and largest banks, to create a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) for the Republic of Tajikistan.
Following its announcement, a 10% rise in FTM followed.

This major deal makes Fantom one of the first blockchain protocols to create a digital currency for a national government.
Working with the National Bank of Tajikistan, Fantom and Orienbank will digitize Tajikistan’s currency, Somoni, for retail and commercial payments, leveraging Fantom’s technology.
