The developers explained the details about the update as follows:

“One of the most important innovations is a new multi-chain system.

This allows business providers to access the network’s automation capabilities across different blockchains, making it the first autonomous keeper network to support multi-chain functionality in DeFi.

To ensure cross-chain communication, we use Connext Network’s data bridge, which provides communication between domains (chains and rollups) with a minimum of trust factor. We also use Optimism Rollup Bridge and native Polygon bridge for communication with minimized trust factor.

We are also introducing a Sidechain Oracle solution.

This will allow data to pass seamlessly between the mainnet and any L2 or Side Chain, using a combination of Uniswap V3’s TWAP oracle and a Crosschain Oracle to maintain high precision for TWAP calculations.”
