Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) of the non-fungible token (NFT) collection and ApeCoin altcoin founder Yuga Labs has formed a community council of key Ape collectors to help grow its Web3 presence.

The following statements were used on the subject in the blog post shared by the company:
“This council was created to represent the community in general and to provide a new perspective.
The council and future councils lay out a more formal, efficient and consistent process for Yuga leadership to continually receive community feedback and advice.”
The council includes seven members: Josh Ong, Sera, Laura Rod, 0xEthan, 0xWave, Negi and Peter Fang. These all represent Web3 entrepreneurs and long-time Bored Ape owners. Yuga Labs says the council will grow over time.
The council’s primary mission will be to stimulate Web3 initiatives in the Bored Ape community. Yuga cites merchandising, meetups, and philanthropic initiatives as some potential uses for grants.
This initiative consists of a group of Bored Ape holders selected to help manage ApeCoin altcoin proposals and grants voted on by holders of ApeCoin, the primary currency of the Yuga Labs ecosystem. cryptocurrency organization is similar to the special advisory role of the ApeCoin Foundation.
Yuga states that this will not be the last NFT council he has convened to help grow the chain of brands.
“We are also investigating the changing needs of our other Yuga NFT communities, CryptoPunks, Meebits, and Otherside,” the company wrote in its blog post.
