Cryptocurrency based wireless network Helium (HNT) altcoin company Nova Labs announced that its subscribers will have 5G coverage throughout the USA, with a new five-year agreement with GSM giant T-Mobile.

According to the press release, under the agreement, Nova Labs will be able to offer mobile products and services that use both networks:
“The announcement coincides with the time Nova Labs plans to launch Helium Mobile, which will enable subscribers to earn crypto rewards using the network.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the deal, Nova Labs can use T-Mobile’s nationwide network to provide coverage to Helium mobile customers where no Helium 5G network is available, Boris Renski, general manager of Nova Labs wireless, said in an interview.
Renski stated that T-Mobile will be paid for Helium mobile subscribers in regions where Helium does not have coverage:
“We don’t have perfect coverage right now and there are a lot of dead spots. However, with this model we are following, it is important to understand that we do not want to replace major mobile operators with our network, but that we are building a network that can complement the operators’ existing macro network.”
Helium Network is a decentralized network of wireless access points altcoin that aims to provide an alternative to wired internet or mobile data service.
It currently has 900,000 hotspots worldwide.
Dan Thygesen, senior vice president of T-Mobile Wholesale, said in a press release, “T-Mobile is excited to support Nova Labs’ innovation in this new cryptocurrency-powered space by enabling mobility on the nation’s largest, fastest and most reliable nationwide 5G network. ” said.
