They Pay $250,000 (56.9 ETH) For A Tungsten Cube That They Can Touch Once A Year!

As it is known, NFTs, that is, non-fungible tokens, are called digital reflections of concrete collectibles.

There are songs, videos, even tweets in NFT, which allows a digital work or asset to be uniquely registered. NFTs, which are becoming more and more familiar, continue to be surprisingly surprising no matter how much we get used to them.

A group of crypto investors operating under the pseudonym TungestenDAO recently paid $250,000 (56.9 ETH) for an NFT of a tungsten cube put up for sale by Midwest Tungsten Service (MTS) last month.

What makes NFT interesting is that it is physically accessible once a year. That is, the cube weighing 2000 lb, or 907,186 kg, and measuring 14 inches, or 35.56 cm, will be open to its owner once a year for an inspected visit.

The owners will have the opportunity to see, photograph and touch the cube, which is banned 364 days a year, with annual visits.

MTS stated that the tungsten in question is the largest product they can produce, and due to shipping issues, they chose to keep the cube at their headquarters and sell the product in NFT form.

MTS will also offer owners the option to replace the existing cube with a larger size during their annual visit.

On the other hand, according to MTS, 10% of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity. Perhaps this will be the most meaningful move in this NFT frenzy!
