Dusseldorf The coalition negotiations between the SPD, the Greens and the FDP for a traffic light coalition officially begin this Thursday. The negotiators for the Social Democrats and Greens have already been chosen.

104 names are on a preliminary list with the SPD, 60 on the list of the Greens. The lists are available to the Handelsblatt. The main SPD negotiators are the possible Federal Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, the party leaders Saskia Esken and Norbert Walter-Borjans, Secretary General Lars Klingbeil, the Prime Minister of Rhineland-Palatinate, Malu Dreyer, and parliamentary group leader Rolf Mützenich.

The leading group in the Greens consists of only three people: the two party leaders Annalena Baerbock and Robert Habeck and the federal manager Michael Kellner.

In addition to the party leaders, 22 working groups are to negotiate the coalition agreement in the individual specialist areas. These include many well-known top and specialist politicians as well as several federal ministers and prime ministers.
