Dusseldorf If you want to earn more, you can reach your goal directly by changing jobs or positions. Especially if the person is willing to take on more responsibility: the biggest salary jump can usually be made by those who move into a managerial position.
“In a competitive environment, salary is a decisive factor that companies can use to score points with applicants,” says Nina Zimmermann, CEO of the employer rating platform Kununu. On the platform, users can not only rate their companies, they can also provide information about their earnings.
Kununu has collected 500,000 salary details from 2022, the evaluation of salaries in various professions and positions is exclusively available to the Handelsblatt. The analysis revealed: On average, people with personnel responsibility earn 14,392 euros more per year than without. Growth rates of around 50 percent are common in these five sectors.
