Even if few employees openly admit it, salary is still one of the main reasons employees leave. According to a recent job study by EY, for which around 1,500 employees were asked about their reasons for changing jobs, 58 percent stated “better pay”. Only then do arguments such as greater job security or a better corporate culture follow.
But which high-paying jobs are there anyway? What skills do applicants need to have? And aren’t jobs like this given on the sly? The job search engine Indeed has compiled a list of the highest-paying jobs advertised on its platform.
Many of the positions are IT jobs, but other sectors also attract with annual salaries between 70,000 and 117,000 euros. The good news: Applicants do not need to have many years of experience for all of them. Indeed determined average salaries for the evaluation. The data is from 2021.
