Sonja Laud, the “Woman of the Year”

Frankfurt Women in the fund industry, making them more visible, promoting the next generation: The career network “Fund women” would like to contribute to this with its “Fund women award”, among other things. On Thursday evening, the association presented the award for the third time at a digital event and honored a company and three women.

In the “Company of the Year” category, the Apo Asset fund house, which specializes in health issues, won. Real estate specialist Nina Stapf from Deka was named “Fund Manager of the Year”. The chief investment strategist of the British company Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), Sonja Laud, was named “Woman of the Year”. The expert jury named Katherine Starks, the head of the securities custody business in Germany at the US bank BNY Mellon, as “Role Model of the Year”.
