“The Voice”: This love story is already a hit! – TV

There was a lot of love in the air when they performed.

On Sunday evening, the coaches from “The Voice of Germany” listened to a very special act: Charlene (32) and Florian Gallant (35) have been married for 12 years and now want to get started as musicians together. The couple’s love story is already a hit.

Both got to know each other in an unusual way, as revealed by backstage presenter Thore Schölermann (37). Flo was in Germany, while Charlene was living in South Africa at the time. He about the moment that changed everything: “At one point I was sitting in front of the television and saw her on a South African church channel. At that moment I just knew that it was my wife. “

The lovebirds emailed each other for two months. After that, the enamored tattoo fan made nails. “I flew to her, and three days later we were married.” The couple now have two boys and live in the Palatinate. Musically, too, Flo and Charlene are on the same wavelength.

Her “The Voice” song: “Mercy” by Shawn Mendes (23). A performance in perfect harmony – thought the coaches too. Two of them wanted to bring the talents into their team: Mark Forster (38) and Nico Santos (28).

When Flo and Charlene told their love story again on stage, everyone was flabbergasted.

Sarah Connor (41) summed up the events enthusiastically: “Well, she stood and sang in church in South Africa. And you saw that in Germany on church TV. So if that is not destiny, I don’t know either. “

Mark Forster could hardly believe that the candidates got married just three days after the first meeting. He was instantly in love with shock. “You are such a cool couple!” In the end, Charlene was allowed to decide which team both go on. The choice of the two-fold mum fell on Mark.

Perhaps the likeable couple will now even become a successful singing duo …
