The three construction sites of FSV Zwickau: transfer ban, friendlies, goals | Sports

Third division FSV Zwickau starts again. On Monday, Joe Enochs (51) asked for the first session after the World Cup break. The FSV trainer is not completely carefree.

BILD explains the three largest winter construction sites of the FSV.

Transfer ban: By mid-January, the FSV must prove a high six-digit amount for the subsequent licensing (BILD reported). The third division club may not sign any new players until the DFB requirements have been met. Nevertheless, defender Christian Campagna (21/HFX Wanderers FC) has been training with FSV since Monday. Enochs wants to take a close look at the 1.86 meter tall Canadian. Sports director Toni Wachsmuth (36): “It is conceivable that more tryouts will come to us in the next few days.”

Test matches: The FSV was only able to secure two games for the winter break. On December 21 in Magdeburg (without spectators) and on January 4, 2023 against Dynamo Dresden (venue still open). Wachsmuth: “Unfortunately, one or two other planned games have fallen through. We’re still looking for opponents.” Next week, FSV wanted to test against the regional league team Chemnitz. Because NOFV put CFC’s catch-up game at Lok Leipzig on December 14, the comparison falls flat.

Tor Yield: The FSV scored only 15 goals in 17 games. Enochs wants to use the long preparation time to work primarily on the goal threat. The coach: “The focus is on degrees, standards and the opening of the game. But the game against the ball and fitness will also be important points. Despite the hard work, the boys should continue to come to training with fun.”

Lukas Krüger (adductors), Can Coskun (dental surgery), Max Jansen (ligament tear) and Filip Kusic (cruciate ligament tear) were absent from training on Monday. Leonhard von Schroetter and Yannik Möker stopped training early. Positive: Nils Butzen was back on the pitch after recovering from a thigh injury.
