Having captured nearly 90 percent of Afghanistan about 25 years ago, the Taliban established dominance over the whole country after its attack in September last year and changed its name to the Islamic Emirate. Taliban officials participated in the test drive and photo shoot of the new Afghan production super sports car called Mada 9. The engineers who developed the vehicle say that after 5 years of work, it will finally be ready for production before the end of the first week of next year.
In the videos we shared above, it is seen that engineers are trying to make a Bugatti Chiron-like car while it is still in the design phase. But in the process, they get a different design that can be considered original even if it is inspired.
Of course, since no information is shared about the engine, driving or safety features used by the car, we can only say that it has an internal combustion engine. However, as seen in the driving video, it has a much higher acceleration compared to normal cars.
In addition, let’s say that there is no major automotive manufacturer behind the vehicle yet. The project is currently being progressed towards the production process by engineers working within the Afghanistan Navavari Technical and Vocational Training Center. It is also supported by ENTOP, Ministry of Informatics and Afghanistan Innovation Center.
