“The Spark – The German Digital Prize”

For the sixth time, McKinsey and Handelsblatt are awarding the German digital prize The Spark. It honors extraordinary start-ups whose ideas have the potential to fundamentally and sustainably change markets.

This year the focus is on “Net Zero Tech”: All start-ups are committed to the mission “climate neutrality” and have developed technologies for an emission-free future. This involves digital technologies for generating, storing and transporting energy as well as new methods for avoiding or binding CO2 in industry or in the transport and building sector.

In addition, with the Female Founder Award, we are again directing the spotlight to the female tech start-up scene and honoring an inspiring personality who, as a digital pioneer, with commitment and
entrepreneurial success convinced. Menging Gao (Kitchen Stories), Katharina Jünger (TeleClinic) or Veronika Riederle (Demodesk) – look forward to this year’s Female Founder Prize winner.
