Some features of the Black Shark 5 series have been announced by a Chinese leak source. The series comes in two models as Black Shark 5 and Pro.

The countdown has begun for the launch of the series, which is expected to include Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro models. The promotional poster of the smartphones was shared on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Thus, it has been officially confirmed from which processor the series will be powered.
Black Shark 5 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Produced with a 4 nm fabrication process, the chipset includes one 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, three 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, in addition to the Adreno 730 graphics unit.
Black Shark 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor. Produced with a 5 nm architecture, the chipset hosts the Adreno 660 graphics unit in addition to one 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X1 (Kryo 680), three 2.42 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores.
Black Shark 5 will come with a 6.8-inch FHD+ resolution Samsung E4 AMOLED panel that offers 120 Hz refresh and 720 Hz touch sampling rate. The Black Shark 5 Pro, on the other hand, will be presented to users with a 6.8-inch 2K resolution AMOLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate.
While the standard model includes a 4,600mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging, a 5,000mAh battery with 120W speeds will be used in the Pro. Finally, it should be noted that both models will run the Android 12 operating system out of the box.
The launch date of the series was not included in the shared promotional poster. However, if we consider the previous leaks, we can say that it can be introduced in February.
