Today, most of the orders placed on the internet consist of the food sector, that is, meals to a large extent, and there are initiatives that make their name known to the world in this regard. While the delay in food orders has been frequently discussed on social media, unfortunately, a sad event took place.
According to the news shared by Sabah newspaper, 25-year-old Tarık T. residing in Antakya, the central district of Hatay, ordered food online and then canceled it because it was late.
Tarık T., who received the meal despite canceling, stated that he did not want the meal because of this reason, and demanded the money for the meal from the courier.
When he couldn’t get the money for the meal, he injured the courier and committed suicide.
The courier, who said he could not make a refund, told the customer to apply to the headquarters. Upon this situation, Tarık T., who went to the headquarters of the said company in Esentepe Mahallesi, asked for the money for the meal. However, the authorities stated that they provide service online and that it will be returned within 2-3 days.
Tarık T., who went crazy after this, left the company after arguing with the couriers and managers, making threats. Tarık T, who went home and took his car and shotgun at home, came to the front of the food company and started shooting at the company from inside the vehicle.
TE, who was working as a courier in the company, was injured in the knee by Tarık T.’s fire. Tarık T., who drove away from the scene with his vehicle after he bombarded the company with bullets, got out of his vehicle and committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
