The period of adopting animals via e-Government has begun!

Compared to Europe, Turkey is at the top in the number of stray animals by a wide margin. Although Istanbul’s cats are famous all over the world, it is a fact that there is a huge stray animal problem with dogs. But a new practice has come into force that can encourage ownership. Pet adoption can now be done via e-Government.

The period of adopting animals via e-Government has begun!

Many volunteers in metropolises such as Istanbul, Izmir and Istanbul take care of stray animals. Many people also help them survive by giving them food and water. Although we all like to love these creatures, unfortunately, there is no place where they can live without their lives in constant danger.

Municipalities, on the other hand, mostly collect these animals in shelters, sterilize them and put them back on the streets. Because there are too many of them and a good work is not done and sufficient budget is not allocated, not all of them can live in shelters.

Of course, some of these animals can be aggressive. He can even attack those who try to enter that street at night by ganging up in the area he lives in. But it’s not their fault. By their nature, these creatures, which have been domesticated from the wolf lineage and started to live with humans, group with each other when the human hand is missing.

Today, thanks to the animal adoption application that has entered into force on e-Government, you will now be able to see all the animals and look at their detailed information and pictures without having to go to the shelter. Therefore, the excuse that I don’t have time to go to the shelter anymore will disappear.

Because the luckiest of these creatures, which can live up to 20 years in a home environment with people in a healthy way, live between 3 and 5 years on the street. He suffers a long and painful death, at best from an accident, at worst from illness.
