“The nuclear phase-out is the wrong decision”

Kley is handing Eon over financially stable. But because of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, the energy world is in a state of emergency. In view of the currently tense situation, Kley considers the nuclear phase-out to be a mistake: “Before we scrape together the coal from all possible seams, it would be much more logical to let the nuclear power plants continue to run,” says Kley in an interview with the Handelsblatt.
