Dusseldorf The speculation has been going on for weeks, now the time has come: The new Vanmoof V should come onto the market this year. This was announced by the founding brothers Taci and Ties Carlier this Tuesday.
The e-bike should reach up to 60 kilometers per hour and is optimized for long commuting routes. “I assume that this new type of high-speed e-bike can completely replace scooters and cars in cities by 2025,” said co-founder Ties Carlier at the bike presentation on Tuesday.
The Vanmoof V is equipped with a two-wheel drive, fully sprung frame – front and rear on the aluminum frame – and thicker tires. This should make it more comfortable to drive longer distances.
