In order to fight forest fires in 2022; The tender process for the air force, which will consist of 5 amphibious aircraft, 5 large tanker aircraft, 10 small tanker aircraft and 55 helicopters, has been initiated by the Defense Industry Presidency.
We continue to work with the Presidency of Defense Industries for the purchase of 5 amphibious aircraft. Since the amphibious firefighting aircraft are special aircraft produced to order, service will continue to be provided by leasing until the aircraft are procured. It is presented to the public with respect.
These aircraft and helicopters, which are estimated to be selected against different terrain conditions and in line with the needs, will intervene in forest fires from the air. It is said that this situation will make a great contribution in terms of both detecting and providing quick solutions.
