The guided mini missile developed by Roketsan was fired from the Gök Alp Drone system!

The laser-guided mini-missile METE, which stands out as an important concept of Roketsan, was fired with the Gök Alp Drone system developed by PAVO Group. The final stage has been reached to start the mass production of the laser-guided mini-missile METE, whose test shots are continuing.

Able to work in harsh weather and field conditions with a payload capacity of 13 kg and a duty time of 35 minutes, Gök Alp was also designed not to be affected by electronic warfare conditions with the technologies it incorporates.

The laser-guided mini-missile system METE, developed by Roketsan and can be launched using new generation 40 millimeter grenade launchers, makes a difference by having an effect beyond the maximum range of the existing conventional grenade launcher ammunition.

Designed to be integrated into the turrets of mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), Unmanned Land Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Marine Vehicles (IDA) and land vehicles with its lightness and small size, METE can be fired by a single personnel with a grenade launcher.

Does not cause vibration even in harsh warfare conditions

Stating that METE, which was integrated into the Gök Alp Drone system developed by the PAVO Group in accordance with the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle concept, successfully completed the test shoots. PAVO Group Chairman of the Board Dr. Alper Ozbilen;

“The Mete of our Roketsan met in the skies with our Gök Alp drone that we designed and produced as PAVO Group. Gök Alp, the first platform on which METE is used, stands out with both its useful load capacity and its ability to remain unaffected by ignition. We will play an active role in the foreign market with the Gök Alp Drone system, which eliminates the shaking and loss of altitude problems experienced by small-scale drone systems, especially when using such ammunition.”
