“The German Television Award”: This is where Barbara Schöneberger takes off! – TV

Everyone was looking forward to this evening: Finally another big award ceremony and then with an audience! On Thursday evening, the “German TV Prize” (donors: RTL, ZDF, Sat.1, ARD and Deutsche Telekom) was awarded – open air in the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne and with a lot of star guests. However, the show was only almost live – it was broadcast more than an hour late on RTL.

Presenter Barbara Schöneberger (47) started the evening happily – because she was thrown through the air by the heartthrob and “Let’s Dance” winner Rúrik Gíslason (33) and his dance colleagues: “A lifting figure – I’m going crazy. I am thrilled that this is possible! ”

She personally welcomed the biggest stars in the audience, for example comedian legend Dieter Hallervorden (86), who had got rid of his shoes for reasons of comfort. Actor and comedian Hape Kerkeling (56) had already received the honorary award in advance and caused admiration among Ms. Schöneberger: “The light figure of German television! The boy is in the fresh air. “

Star presenter Thomas Gottschalk (71) did not have his colleague Günther Jauch (65) in tow. Barbara Schöneberger apologized for her show mates: “Günther Jauch has an owners’ meeting in Potsdam.” Of course, that was a joke – the moderator later reported via video from his “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” studio: “One of the three of us has to go work. I just have a recording. “

Moderator Oliver Pocher (43) made eyes wide with his outfit: Although he was wearing a jacket, he was only wearing swim shorts on the bottom. However, there was a reason – together with drag queen Olivia Jones (51), he was standing at the beach club next to the dance fountain to award the prize for the best reality show.

Olivia Jones didn’t like that at all: “Is this the dog meadow or is it the litter box?” The two were particularly pleased about the winners – “Princess Charming” won the coveted TV award.

The moderator duo Joko & Klaas and their production company Florida TV were delighted three times. First there was a prize for Joko Winterscheidt (42) for his new program “Who is stealing the show from me?”. He reported together with Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (37) via video message – they were in the studio for a recording. Joko thanked his moderation buddy with a small tip: “Klaas didn’t even interfere in this show. Thanks for that!”

In the “Best TV Film” category there was the second trophy for the two of them – Florida TV co-produced the winning film “Forever Summer 90”, the team of which won the TV award. A short time later, however, Joko and Klaas reappeared in front of the camera to announce the winner in the “The best information” category. Markus Lanz (52) was delighted about a prize that he dedicated to his beloved mother: “I know that there is now an elderly lady sitting in the South Tyrolean mountains at 87, who did not have an easy life and who I very, very much owe a lot. Mama, this is for you! “

The moderator duo Joko & Klaas continued to run like clockwork. They were represented twice in the “Best Infotainment” category: once for their 15 minutes of broadcasting time on the subject of “Men’s Worlds” gained in “Joko und Klaas gegen Pro Sieben” and for their live documentary “Care is # Not Self-evident” in the a nurse filmed her night shift. The care documentary won the third TV award – and the two of them again made a video appearance from their studio.

The evening ended with a tribute to star entertainer Hape Kerkeling. Singer Sasha (49) performed “The whole life is a quiz”, comedian Michael Kessler (54) sang “Witzischkeit knows no borders” from the cult film “No Pardon” and even had the “funny lucky bunny” in tow. Angelika Milster (69) appeared as “Uschi Blum”, and opera singer Rolando Villazón (49) trilled “Hurz”. “Horst Schlämmer” was shown on video.

Overwhelmed, Kerkeling thanked him: “I’m very emotional. I would like to thank the jury, I would like to thank my fans, and I would like to thank the LGBTQ community that has supported me for decades. And that’s why I would like to dedicate this award to this community. “
