Saudi Arabian Grand Prix training and qualifying laps!
Training tours of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix were held. The dates of the tours are as follows:
- 1st practice rounds: Friday, March 17, 16.30
- 2nd training rounds: Friday, March 17 at 20:00
- 3rd training rounds: Saturday, March 18, 16.30
The winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd training rounds remained unchanged. Max Verstappen of Red Bull won all 3 training rounds. There was a rivalry between Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso for the 2nd and 3rd places in the training rounds. Sergio Perez was the second of the 1st and 3rd training laps, and Fernando Alonso was the second of the 2nd training laps.

The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team unveiled the black W14 vehicle that it will race in 2023.
