The first flight date for the National Combat Aircraft-MMU has been updated!

Related institutions such as the Presidency of Defense Industries and TAI continue their work on aircraft without slowing down. Finally, the production and assembly of the front, middle and rear fuselage parts for the National Combat Aircraft (MMU/TF-X) was completed. Today, it was said that the project went 2 years ahead of schedule. For this reason, the first flight date for the National Combat Aircraft-MMU has also changed. Here are the details…

The first flight date for the National Combat Aircraft-MMU has been updated! in the air at the end of 2023

After Hürkuş, TAI continues to work on the production of Hürjet and National Combat Aircraft. The video of Hürjet’s 2nd prototype, whose assembly process was completed recently, was taken out of the hangar was shared. Although no visual of the first one has been published, it is said that ground tests have started in the past months.

President announced! When will the Altay tank be delivered?

The official serial production date for the Altay tank, which the Turkish Armed Forces has been waiting for for many years, was shared by the President.

Kotil said that the work progressed faster than expected, and that almost all parts, from flight control systems to the engine, from the hydraulics to the landing gear, were integrated without the slightest problem. According to the current calendar shared for MMU, the first flight date seems to be October 2025, but he stated that it will take place at the end of 2023.

In the photos we shared below, you can see the difference between the body assembly and the design planned for mass production. It is planned to use F-16 (F-110) in the prototype, and domestic engines produced by TEI in mass production. Another detail that attracted attention was that the infrared search and tracking (IRST) sensor was adapted to the 5th generation until its design.
