Eric Kripke, executive producer of the popular series, made the following statements in his statement:
“The week that season 4 of The Boys starts is a good time to announce it: Season 5 will be the final season! That was always my plan, I just had to be secretive until I got final approval from Vought. I’m excited to bring the story to a bloody, epic and humid climax. Watch season 4 in 2 days, because the end has begun!”
Kripke also added the last page of the season 4 finale script, which was scribbled all over, to his post. The only part of the script that is not crossed out is the final sentence: “See you in our final season, ******!”
