The Car of the Year competition, hosted every year by the Automotive Journalists Association, has concluded. The outcome of the competition, where there was fierce competition in 2024, was highly anticipated. The awards were delivered to their owners at the organization held at the Rahmi Mustafa Koç Museum in the evening of June 25, 2024.
In the competition where BMW 5 Series, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Mercedes-Benz E Series, Renault Austral, Togg T10X and Toyota C-HR models were finalists, the “Car of the Year 2024 Award in Turkey” was given to Togg T10X. The domestic car, which came first in the voting by a large margin, celebrated its victory on its official social media accounts.
In addition to the Car of the Year Award in Turkey, the winner of the “Innovation” award was the Togg Trumore ecosystem and application. The “Design of the Year” award went to Korea. Korean manufacturer Kia won the design award with its new EV9 model. Launches that carry a prestige meaning in the automotive industry also competed fiercely.
