Tesla, where Elon Musk is the CEO, has experienced a remarkable decline in sales in the last two quarters. This situation even became a matter of debate in the investment world. According to the latest information, Tesla has finally started to rise in vehicle sales. Here are the details…
Tesla sales started to increase again
Tesla announced that it produced 469 thousand 796 vehicles in the three-month period as of the end of September and delivered 462 thousand 890 of these vehicles. This figure reveals an increase of 9.1 percent compared to the third quarter of 2023.

The number of production increased by 14.4 percent and the number of deliveries increased by 5.8 percent compared to the second quarter of 2024. Accordingly, the company produces and sells more vehicles compared to earlier this year. It is thought that the electric truck Cybertruck, which the company introduced and offered for sale in November 2023, also had an impact on this increase.
While the electric vehicle industry is growing, consumers’ interest in hybrid vehicles is also increasing. Many people prefer hybrid models instead of fully electric vehicles. Tesla, on the other hand, offers a limited option by producing fully electric vehicles that run only on batteries. This leaves the brand one step behind the competition.
The company is in serious competition in China as well as in the United States. Because manufacturers such as BYD and Geely are achieving record sales with their campaigns. Of course, this directly affects Tesla sales.
