Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s Graduate School Will Accept Payments With Bitcoin!

With the greater adoption of cryptocurrencies around the world, major universities have also started accepting Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as means of payment.

According to Bloomberg’s report, the Wharton School of the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania, one of the best schools in the USA, has started to accept payments with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for the payment of tuition fees.

Cryptocurrency payment will be limited to the new online blockchain and digital asset program called “Blockchain and the Economy of Digital Assets”, scheduled to launch in January.

While it is stated that the new blockchain and digital technologies course will cost students $3,800, the school expects to attract thousands of students annually with this program.

Wharton School, one of the nation’s leading business schools, will use Coinbase Global, the US-based crypto exchange’s e-commerce platform, to accept crypto payments.

There are many Wharton School graduates active in the cryptocurrency world. One of them is Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who graduated in 1997.

Apart from the Wharton School, there have been educational institutions that accept Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payments. However, the Philadelphia-based Wharton School stated that they will be the first Ivy League institution or US business school to accept cryptocurrency.

Finally, Wharton added that currently the business school has no plans to implement cryptocurrency payments for other courses.
