Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of TurkeyHe emphasized the importance of events such as SDN Summit for Türkiye. He stated that next year the current SDN Summit should continue with an event twice the size of the event.

Hepsiburada introduced its Drone Delivery project at SDN Summit. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır received information about the project and expressed his satisfaction. At the event, Hepsiburada CEO Nilhan Onal Gökçetekin also gave a speech and emphasized the importance of technology and innovation.

HAVELSAN attracted attention by introducing its new artificial intelligence model, MAIN, at the SDN Summit event. Held on the second day of the event, Financial Technologies: Journey to the Financial Sector of the Future speaking at the panel MasterCard Türkiye General Manager Avşar Gürdal talked about the digitalization of payment technologies and the advantages of digitalization.
Stating that MasterCard’s purpose of existence is to digitalize economies, Avşar Güldal emphasized that as digitalization increases, gray areas in the economy decrease. As the gray area in the economy decreases, many advantages such as increased tax revenue and increased security were also pointed out.
He emphasized that when we look at the data in our country, 55 percent of daily expenditures made today ensure digitalization. By 2024, Masterpass has reached 40 million registered unique users, 70 million registered cards and more than 4 thousand member businesses.
