Frankfurt/Main Technical faults had slowed down operations at Lufthansa at Frankfurt Airport – they have now been partially resolved. A company spokeswoman said on Sunday that check-in via the airline’s website, at the counter and boarding at Frankfurt Airport were affected.

However, after the disruptions on Sunday morning, there could still be delays and isolated flight cancellations, a company spokeswoman said on request. Meanwhile, check-in via the Lufthansa website and at check-in machines at airports was still affected.

The technical faults at external IT service providers are long and have existed since Sunday morning. Check-in via mobile browsers, for example on smartphones or tablets, or via the Lufthansa app still works. Lufthansa asked travelers to find out about the status of their own flight. “We are working flat out to find a solution to the problem,” said the spokeswoman.
