TAI unmanned warplane first flight date!

Thanks to the rapid steps taken one after another in the field of aviation by domestic defense industry companies, Turkey became the world’s top UAV-SIHA seller in 2022. We get news of new vehicles every day. Finally, the first flight date for the unmanned warplane, which was secretly developed by TAI, has emerged.

TAI unmanned warplane first flight date!

There is a certain route that Turkey follows on the aviation side. Undoubtedly, the most important vehicles here are the Hürjet, which will make its first flight next March, and the MMU, which is targeted to be included in the inventory within 5 years.

But there is also the unmanned side of things. Here, on the other hand, there are UAV, SİHA, TİHA and MIUS systems developed by Baykar and TUSAŞ. Of course, the unmanned aerial vehicles developed to date have become famous all over the world with their proven operational capabilities in the field and international export success.

The domestic turbo jet engine was completed in record time!

The turbo jet engine named KTJ-1750, developed by Kale Arge for the domestic cruise missile Çakır, has been completed. It will be delivered this week.

Today, however, since a certain level of technology has been reached and even among the pioneers of this business in the world, the focus is on vehicles that are slightly larger in size, can go faster and are developed for different usage scenarios.

The first of these was Bayraktar Kızılelma with a take-off weight of 6 tons. This vehicle, which comes from Ukraine and has different versions using domestic engines produced by TEI, will once again change the history of war with its direct or future generations, just like Anka and TB2s, when it enters the inventory.

It is known that TAI has had an eye on this field since 2012. In fact, when the first Anka UAVs were delivered, it was announced that the next target was TİSU-MİUS. But so far, we have not seen a mockup or a drawing.

However, according to recent information, TAI has secretly completed this unmanned warplane. It is even said that ground tests have been carried out for a while. This vehicle, which has a take-off weight of 7 tons, is expected to accelerate to Mach 0.7.

It is expected to use the delta wing form to reduce radar visibility. Of course, we may not see a direct X-47 style design here. Instead, it may have a similar structure to the Boeing MQ-28, whose image we shared above.

But next February is marked for the first flight. Bayraktar Kızılelma is also expected to take off before the end of 2022. So we won’t have to wait long to see both aircraft.
