Statement made by Abdulkadir Uraloğlu:
Our local and national communication satellite, which is currently 32 thousand km away from the Earth, will move to its final orbit in October 2024.
The first two of the five launches required for orbital travel were completed successfully.
1st on July 10 (Raised from 300 km altitude to 11 thousand km altitude.)
2nd on July 12 (increased from 11 thousand km to 32 thousand km)
The 3rd firing was on July 14,
The 4th firing was on July 16,
The 5th firing will take place on July 17th.
It will reach the 50-degree east test orbit on July 23, where its antennas will be opened for the first time, and after verifications, it will remain in this orbit for 90 days.
After the verification procedures to be carried out here, it will move to 42 degrees east orbit. During this movement, our satellite will perform 4 more firings. With the last firing, the satellite’s distance will be fixed at 35,786 km.
