Starlink network will reach 300 Mps on airplanes
As it is known, Elon Musk attaches great importance to the high-speed internet service Starlink project. With this project, the company accelerated its initiatives to provide not only internet but also space-based mobile network services. In addition, the company conducted and successfully completed various tests to provide this service on aircraft.
A test was carried out recently for internet service on the plane. The Starlink test was performed on the JSX regional flight from Burbank to San Jose, California. During the flight, passengers were provided with a speed of 100 Mbps. In a statement on Twitter, Elon Musk said that this speed will increase to 300 Mps after the necessary improvements.
The Starlink network is expanding day by day. Elon Musk attaches great importance to this expansion goal. The CEO of the company recently made an important statement regarding this issue. Musk said the high-speed internet service is now available globally. The service is active on all continents, including Antarctica.
On the other hand, with Starlink, high-speed internet service on the plane has increased its popularity all over the world. However, this causes a huge increase in prices. In the past days, ShiftDelete.Net founder Hakkı Alkan revealed the high prices in the contracted internet prices on the Turkish Airlines Istanbul – Hannover flight he was on.
