omaha Omaha is busier than it’s been in a long time. A good 40,000 shareholders from all over the world came to the Berkshire Hathaway annual general meeting. The spectacle has long been nicknamed “Woodstock for capitalists” because it has less to do with a traditional general meeting and more to do with a festival. Shareholders are celebrating Berkshire CEO Warren Buffett and his longtime companion Charlie Munger for their unprecedented achievements.

Buffett turns 93 in August. Munger, Berkshire’s vice chairman, is 99. “And you never know how long we’ll be able to see them live,” said one shareholder who has been making regular trips to Omaha from Florida for the past 20 years.

Star investor Buffett loves the big show. “We even have guests from Andorra. I didn’t even know it was a country,” he joked in a TV interview.
