Sony added two new wireless headphones to its LinkBuds series. Sony LinkBuds Open and LinkBuds Fit models have some differences in terms of both design and performance. While LinkBuds Open allows you to hear ambient sounds with its open headphone design, LinkBuds Fit appears as a more traditional, closed wireless headset. Here are the prices and features of the new headphones…
Sony LinkBuds Open and LinkBuds Fit price and features
First of all, Sony claims that its new headphones increase the comfort of use. The main reason for this is the renewed wings called “Air Fitting Supporters”. These wings allow the headphones to fit better into the ear, reducing pressure points and making long-term use more comfortable.
LinkBuds Open The model has a similar structure to the previous open-ring design wireless headphones. However, this model can offer stronger bass and louder sound with an 11 mm driver. Additionally, voice command support is also available. The interesting thing is that there is no need for any smart assistant for these voice commands. The entire process takes place directly in the headset. Operations such as skipping songs and changing the volume can be easily done thanks to this feature.
LinkBuds Fit, It appears as an improved version of the LinkBuds S model released in 2022. This model, which is smaller and lighter, has a slightly lower battery life compared to the previous version. Offering 5.5 hours of usage time, the model provides up to 21 hours of usage with the charging box. In addition, the V2 processor and Dynamic Driver X driver used in Sony’s flagship model WF-1000XM5 are also included in these headphones.
The price of both models is set at $199.99. LinkBuds Open will be available in black and white, while LinkBuds Fit will be available in black, white and purple color options. What do you think about these headphones? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
