In order to understand the results of the benchmark, you must first understand what Geekbench 5 is. Geekbench 5 measures single-core and multi-core performance in addition to the processor’s GPU performance. It is an application to see the power of a phone and compare it with other devices.
In a recent Geekbench 5 test, the iPhone 14 Pro Max scored 1884 single-core and 5431 multi-core. These numbers are performance values that cannot be reached by a phone currently on the market. Vivo X90 Pro+, on the other hand, achieved a very close result to the iPhone 14 Pro in the same test.
As seen in the post, Vivo X90 Pro+ scored 1462 in the single-core test and 5182 in the multi-core test. It is impressive that the phone, which has already been officially introduced and will be released in the near future, gives such high performance. It would be unfair to evaluate these results only in the case of Vivo X90 Pro+. The Galaxy S23 series and many flagship phones, which are expected to be introduced in the near future, will also be powered by the same platform. In addition, the new chip is 45 percent more performant than Samsung’s Exynos 2200, according to tests. Even when it comes to the graphics unit, we can talk about energy efficiency up to 88 percent.
