Singapore Police Statement About Terra Founder Do Kwon: Is He Still In The Country?

Last week, a spokesperson for South Korean prosecutors said that arrest warrants had been issued for six people, including Do Kwon, and that they resided in Singapore.

The next day, South Korean prosecutors asked the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to invalidate Kwon’s passport so that the crypto developer would not be able to travel.

The arrest warrant came after months of investigation and public outrage over the collapse in South Korea. According to blockchain analysis firm Elliptic, investors in the two coins lost an estimated $42 billion globally.

Singapore police said in a statement late Saturday that they will assist South Korean police within their domestic legislation and international obligations.

It was reported that Do Kwon’s last known place was Singapore. He is still active on social media and tweeted on Saturday:

“We can tell a lot about a society by looking at the way it raises its young and bury its dead.”

Do Kwon did not respond to a message requesting comment at the time of this writing.
