Emilio Ballack († 18) had just graduated from Munich International School in Berg on Lake Starnberg. He then went on vacation with his brothers Louis (19) and Jordi (16) as well as Papa Michael (44) in the family villa on the Portuguese peninsula Troia, as himself the terrible accident happened. On August 5th at 2:07 a.m. Emilio had an accident with his quad bike and succumbed to his serious injuries.
Now his mother Simone Mecky-Ballack (45) found the strength to speak publicly about this tragic loss for the first time. Today, September 19th, Emilio would have turned 19. She remembers her deceased son with heartbreaking words.

“My beloved child. Today on September 19th would you have been 19 years old ”, she writes next to a photo of herself and her Emilio. “Who could have guessed that this picture would be your last birthday picture…” And further: “I miss you every second and I don’t know how it should ever be different? I fight my way through life every day, for you and your brothers. “

Then Michael Ballack’s ex-wife thanks you for the numerous words of support on social media and writes to her Instagram followers: “Thank you very much for the many, many messages and words of comfort. Don’t be angry that I can’t answer everyone, but I’ve read every single one. “
She ends her post with the touching poem “Immortality” by Clare Harner and the words: “In Eternal Love. Your mum”.
Michael Ballack also put a heart into the emotional mail sent by the mother of his children.
