Silk Road Founder is on the agenda with his first NFT!

Silk Road’s life sentenced founder Ross Ulbricht has published his first NFT collection, and the bid is already approaching $900,000. It was stated that the proceeds from the auction, which is planned to last a week, will be used to support the families of the prisoners and Ulbricht’s freedom campaign.

The founder of the Silk Road platform, where many illegal products such as weapons and drugs are sold, was arrested in 2013 and sentenced to double life plus 40 years in prison.

At that time, the platform accepted payments in Bitcoin, which greatly increased the recognition of the leading cryptocurrency.

That’s why Ulbricht’s prison adventure has always been closely scrutinized by the Bitcoin community. Even though the famous name was in prison, he had access to the charts with special permission to analyze Bitcoin one day a week. Until recently, it continued to be on the agenda with many consistent analyzes.

Now, Ulbricht, who has put up for auction 10 writings and works of art he wrote throughout his life, (5 out of 10 pieces were created after Ulbricht was imprisoned) aroused great interest with the NFT news in question.

The auction, which started on December 2 and coincides with the first day of the Art Basel Miami art fair, will continue until December 8. After several bids in the first few hours of the auction, NFT has been bid for just over 200 Ethereum, with an instant value of around $900,000.
