“The likely outcome is that Bitcoin will continue to grow in size, market cap, price and purchasing power over the decades, possibly becoming the global currency that will replace the US dollar in the long run,” he said.

“This could happen as soon as 20 to 30 years, but it could also be something that won’t happen until next century.”

Posting that altcoins like Ethereum and Solana are “s***coins,” Klippsten claimed that unlike Bitcoin, they cannot hope to be a form of money. He also said that Ethereum is a scam that will explode eventually.

“Someone can extract and control the money supply of these altcoins and change the code whenever they want,” he said. “This is something very different from Bitcoin, which is decentralized and immutable and has no owner. None of these altcoins can become money.”

Predicting FTX’s collapse before it happened, Klippsten called FTX’s CEO Sam Bankman-Fried a “Scam Bankster Fraud”.

Klippsten also hinted that Ethereum, which had recently transitioned to a proof-of-stake protocol, would fail as it became increasingly “complex” and politicized.

Bitcoin Price

Suggesting that Bitcoin moves in four-year cycles, Klippsten said the US Federal Reserve appears to be preparing to move from monetary tightening to a more dovish policy.

This, in turn, can affect Bitcoin. He added that considering its four-year cycles, Bitcoin has a possible bottom just under $14,000.
