In a recent blog post titled “Shiba Inu: Deployer,” its developer, Kaal Dhairya, warned the Shiba Inu community of the dangers of falling for such fake programs.

The developer noted that after the discovery of a new contract on the program, giving a warning became mandatory. According to the developer, this contract has the capacity to spread malicious events by hiding information about a transaction.
With this method, an association can be made even with trusted wallets that are considered well-protected. The developer noted that after examining the contract, it was observed that it could be used for different purposes such as defrauding unsuspecting people and marketing activities.
Of course, this method used by fraudsters is not the first time, it has been witnessed before that hackers use the ERC-20 approval function to steal other users’ assets with fake coins.
Shiba Inu Owners Should Be Careful
However, to avoid falling victim to these attacks, the developer urged Shiba Inu owners to be more vigilant to events within the community.
“Scammers/smart marketers use programming to deceive millions of people, sometimes more malicious codes can consume your wallet upon token confirmation, we see this all the time and we can’t do anything about it.”
The Shiba Inu became a popular digital asset last year after its meteoric rise led to a new cache of crypto millionaires. The fact that meme coin started to be seen as a competitor to Dogecoin took things even further.
