Online electronics retailer Newegg has posted a tweet from its Twitter account that excited the Shiba Inu (SHIB) community.
Newegg wrote, “Contact us in my DM, I have a question,” tagging Shytoshi Kusama, the developer of the recently popular meme token Shiba Inu, and his official Twitter account.
@ShytoshiKusama @Shibtoken DM us. Got a question for ya

Seeing the post, the SHIB community began to think that Newegg could add SHIB as a payment option.
Newegg, who was asked whether it will add SHIB as a payment option, has not yet made a statement on the subject.
Newegg, one of the first retailers in the world to adopt Bitcoin in 2014, added Dogecoin as a payment option last April.
US-based Newegg accepts Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Wrapped BTC, Dai and four of the stablecoins (BUSD, USDC, GUSD and PAX) as payment methods, apart from Bitcoin and Dogecoin.
