Frankfurt “Mr. Sewing, you did a great job”, “like a phoenix rising from the ashes”, “good work” – Deutsche Bank and its CEO Christian Sewing have not received so much praise from important shareholder representatives for a long time. The highest profit in 15 years and a strong result in the first quarter of this year made an impression on many investors, as their speeches at the institute’s virtual general meeting show.
