Balinese Nothing less than the future of the world order is currently being negotiated at the G20 summit in Bali.

If the group of the 20 most powerful industrial and emerging countries were not able to agree on at least a minimum consensus on the most pressing global issues, the G20 would be obsolete.

It hasn’t gotten that far. This can already be seen on the first day at the summit. As of now, the G20 has achieved more in Bali than could have been expected.

The heads of state and government are united in their opposition to nuclear threats, thereby isolating Vladimir Putin a little further. This is a success that Chancellor Olaf Scholz can also claim for himself.
