Jörg S., the alleged leader of the ‘Saxon Separatists,’ has been extradited from Poland to Germany. His network extends to Austria, where he is linked to explosives expert Alfred K., who has ties to the Austrian Ministry of the Interior. Investigations reveal connections to right-wing extremism, including illegal arms transactions and training. Both individuals have troubled histories, with Jörg’s father associated with neo-Nazi activities and Alfred previously arrested for explosives-related offenses.

Extradition of ‘Saxon Separatists’ Leader

The suspected head of the ‘Saxon Separatists’ has recently been extradited from Poland back to Germany. Investigations reveal that his network reaches into Austria, where he is linked to an explosives expert who also provides consultancy to the Austrian Ministry of the Interior.

In November 2024, authorities apprehended eight individuals believed to be part of a right-wing terrorist faction known as the ‘Saxon Separatists.’ Jörg S., identified as their alleged leader, reportedly maintained connections with Austria, including selling a silencer to an associate there.

Ties to Extremism and Criminal Background

This associate is reported to have executed a shooting test of bulletproof plates intended for military vests on behalf of Jörg S. According to findings from an Austrian publication and investigative reports, this individual is Alfred K., a 63-year-old explosives expert from Krems, Lower Austria, who has provided expertise to the Austrian Ministry of the Interior.

Jörg S. is described as a staunch National Socialist. Documentation accessed reveals K. as a longtime friend of Jörg S.’s father, who is a notable figure in the Austrian neo-Nazi community. Hans Jörg S. junior, Jörg’s father, previously served an eight-year sentence for promoting National Socialist sentiments.

Alfred K.’s troubling history includes an arrest at 17 for attempting to detonate a wine cellar, where authorities uncovered neo-Nazi literature in his possession. He has since become a recognized explosives expert and has appeared on various television programs, while also being authorized to conduct training courses in explosives safety.

Evidence shows that Jörg S. and Alfred K. communicated frequently, including discussions about shooting training in Austria and the acquisition of prohibited items like silencers. The FBI provided critical intelligence during the investigation into this right-wing extremist group, which further complicates K.’s connections to the Austrian authorities.

The Austrian Ministry of the Interior has stated that they cannot disclose information about specific individuals for data protection reasons, yet they assured that any criminal findings would be forwarded to the appropriate legal entities.

Alfred K. has refrained from commenting on his involvement with the ‘Saxon Separatists,’ citing a lack of direct inquiries from authorities. The legal representative for Jörg S. has also not responded to requests for information.
